These 2026 proof Sovereign 3 coin sets have been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity.

The 2026 Sovereign proof coin range features the traditional George & Dragon design by Pistrucci on the reverse, used for over 200 years. The obverse of the coin features the official effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings. This year’s coin marks the return of the series to a yellow gold alloy.
